ELECTRICAL
Adding a light to your loft is one of the easiest and most effective methods of transforming the space while ensuring you can see to navigate your way around your loft.

We install 1200mm strip lights spurred form the existing lighting ring in your loft and place a switch within easy reach of the loft hatch.
We can also install a double socket in your loft to provide additional power spurred from the ring main on the floor below.
All works are provided with a Minor Works Certificate and carried out by competent persons.

HATCH ALTERATIONS
It is often the case that the existing loft hatch is not big enough for our customers requirements or is located in an awkward space so we can offer the option of extending the current hatch or creating and entirely new hatch finished with a new lining and architrave.
If your existing hatch is metal or plastic and does not hinge downward it is highly likely that you will require a Reline to allow us to hang our new trap door, this process involves removing the plastic/metal and installing a new pine lining & architrave.

LADDER ACCESORIES
Make your loft even easier to access with one of our access accessories.

The floor mounted grabrail is the most popular option and can be added to any ladder in our range, some customers will utilise 2 grabrails to provide extra ease.
​
The Stira Wraparound metal balustrade can be used with all Stira models, the Komfort and Deluxe and represents the ultimate in comfort & safety.
And finally we can create a custom balustrade for your loft hatch which can be made to any size and for any opening, the picture is for illustrative purposes as each one finishes slightly differently
